A COMMITMENT TO SUSTAINABLE BUILDING

Wood & Wood has a concern for the state of our earth and a desire to assist clients in making eco-conscious building choices that are in harmony with the environment and each other. Our philosophy is to educate our clients regarding their choice of materials or process so that we can responsibly meet their design needs. We specialize in using locally available raw materials which are both energy and resource efficient.

Robert Redford’s company, for example, hired us to examine all materials and substitutes that could be used in their Sundance theater project. Wood & Wood was assigned to research all sources used in the manufacturing of building products, and analyze with the staff whether a product was worthy of an ecologically sound construction.
